Celestron Nexstar Alt/Az Mounts

One of the most common problems users experience with this mount is the non-standard centre pin on the power connector. This appears to be slightly undersized and quite often wont work even with the original supplied cable.

To improve connection to your cables simple use a small jewellers screwdriver or sharp knife to carefully 'open' out the end of the centre pin on the connector.
SkyWatcher HEQ-5 / Orion Sirius EQ-G Rebuild Guide
